Waaree Renewable Technologies Defies Sector Slump with 9.61% Surge

Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd shares soared 9.61% to ₹1,242.10 on October 13, 2025, bucking the 0.68% decline in the Nifty Energy index. The stock reached a 52-week high of ₹1,287.00, with trading volume hitting 121.61 lakh shares valued at ₹1,521.46 crore.

The rally follows record Q2 FY26 results announced on October 10, showcasing a 47.73% YoY revenue growth to ₹774.78 crore and a 117.40% surge in profit after tax to ₹116.34 crore. Waaree Renewable's unexecuted order book stands at 3.48 GWp, with execution expected within 12-15 months.

Energy sector performance remained divided—only seven stocks advanced while thirty-three declined. Torrent Power led gainers at 1.52%, while Reliance Power dropped 5.48% and ONGC fell 1.21%.
